Sisters of the Sky

Description

Originally working with a photo of two sisters, one was wearing black and the other white, the intent was to make them into a yin yang … which I might still do, but as one had golden hair and the other dark dressed in silver, it reminded me so much of night and day that I played off that instead. Their arms were not clasped behind the sun’s leg in the original photo but I did that in a sense of unity between the two like a relationship of sharing the sky. I felt that it also tied in well with the zodiac series with the sun sign and the moon sign.
